Other: Despite his personality being one that doesn't exactly draw people in, Cailean would love to meet his mate and have an actual relationship instead of the superficial ones he finds himself in currently. He also has a thick Scottish accent.

Caliean exudes confidence, and likes to have people think he doesn't care about what people say of him. Which is true to an extent, having grown up with the type of father he had he has heard far worse than what anyone at the school could say about him, so he lets things roll of his back. That being said, a lot of things said about him are caused by things he's done because he tends to pick at people until they explode at him, and says the wrong things at the wrong times (purposefully).
Cailean has also grown to be very possessive of relationships he finds himself in. Because he was so alone growing up, whenever he finds himself in a relationship he becomes terrified of losing the person and does everything in his power to keep them around, though his almost overbearing actions tend to push them away more than anything.

Cailean had the misfortune of being born the bastard son to the Scottish alpha of a werewolf pack. His mother, Alisa, had been nothing more than a plaything to Mael Coluim, who had yet to find his mate. When she became pregnant, his response was to lock her away so nobody would know she was carrying his seed. When she finally gave birth, Mael Coluim purposefully named him Cailean, which meant whelp or young dog. Alisa was allowed to stay around for Cailean's first few years of life, though the two never left the room they'd been confined to. When Cailean was around 4, Mael Coluim met his mate, Shona, who shortly after became pregnant and Alisa was unceremoniously kicked out of the pack, and was unable to take Cailean with her.

Now having a legitimate heir to become Alpha, Mael Colium became even colder to Cailean, treating him more like a rogue mutt than his son. Contact with Alisa was forbidden, and Cailean was allowed little to no forms of pleasure. His younger half-brother, Markas, was treated like royalty in comparison, being raised to see his older brother as less than him simply because his father couldn't control his urges.

Around the age of seven his baby sister Rona was born. Cailean was forbidden from any contact with her by Shona, who claimed that he would do something to hurt the baby, despite having never had violent tendencies before. Still, Rona took to Cailean more than anyone else in their family. Naturally, because his full-blood sister preferred to spend time with Cailean instead of him, Markas claimed that Cailean, who was 13 at the time, had attacked the younger girl. Despite protests from both Cailean and Rona, all contact was cut off permanently, and per pushing from Shona, Cailean was finally kicked out of the pack and left to roam by himself.

He spent almost two years in his wolf form, living off the land in order to keep himself alive, a few times almost forgetting that he had a human form to him, and forcing himself to shift to it once or twice in order to keep the ability to do so. One of those times in his human form was when he met a scout from Otherworld Academy, and he agreed readily to join the school only so he wouldn't have to be the wolf for such a long period of time anymore.

During his student years at the school, Cailean developed a bit of an over-inflated ego, the attention he got from girls due to his looks and quiet personality helping that just a bit more. Eventually, in order to protect himself from being hurt, he shaped himself into a bit of a playboy, going from girl to girl, refusing to keep a committed relationship with any of them. There was one, however, who he felt this impossible draw to, and she was the only one he tried to have a relationship with. But it was also with this one girl that he leaned he had this uncontrollable need to be in control all the time, and that he was very possessive of her. Though he tried to explain he wasn't like that to isolate her from her friends, the fact that he got jealous of any of her male friends, and constantly tried to contact her when they spend too much time away from her eventually caused him to drive her away. He hasn't been in an actual relationship since, and tells himself and others that he is content with the way he lives.

After graduating he took on a job as a tutor at the school, not having a home to go back to. His attitude hasn't gotten much better as staff, and he actually finds himself egging on students and fellow staff members alike for his own amusement. Though he hasn't gotten into serious trouble over it, he has been called into the headmaster's office on more than one occasion, Blakwell himself having to fight laughter several times in order to reprimand the wolf.

Cailean has been able to get into contact with his mother since joining the school, and has even been able to visit her on more than one occasion. He also found a way to contact Rona without their father noticing (yet). He is his most sincere when talking to them.

Alisa Rose: Cailean loves his mother very much, though he didn't get to spend much time with her before she was cast out. He writes her letters constantly.
Mael Coluim Carr: Nothing short of hatred for this man because of how he and his mother were treated
Shona Carr: He does not have a good relationship with his step-mother, because she looks down on him.
Markas Carr: Markas was conditioned to see himself as better than Cai at a young age, so he does not interact with his younger brother.
Rona Carr: The only of his family members outside of his mom Cai has a decent relationship with. He misses her.
