Likes: reading, dancing, being outside, cute cuddly animals. Dislikes: bullies, being in a bad mood, cleaning. Strengths: telepathy, emotionally manipulation, sleeping for long periods of time. Weaknesses: others crying, needing to take care of everything and everyone, academics. Hobbies: botany, reading, animal watching. Goals: unsure. Other: Rosalind has a fear of losing people close to her and while it is easy for her to make friends she has a hard time letting people close because she doesn't want to go through the pain of losing someone again. She has finally told her long-term crush of four years that she is in love with him, and they are giving dating a try.
|
- romantic: Rosalind loves fairy tales and has always wished for a "knight in shining armor", even though she knows its unrealistic
- soft spoken: Rosie is not a very loud person, and tends to talk in just barely above a whisper
- bubbly: She has an ungodly amount of energy and it spills into her attitude often
- depressed: because she tries so hard to keep everyone else happy it is easy for her to slip into a very dark mood
- nurturing: Rosalind finds herself being very motherly toward any living being, sometimes it gets overbearing

| Rosalind is naturally a very happy, energetic person. She often has a smile on her face and her attitude is contagious (it probably helps that she can manipulate others emotions very slightly). She loves talking to people and making friends, and often tends to become a bit overprotective of said friends, almost to the point where it gets to be too much.
Despite that, because she spends so often making sure everyone else is happy and okay, there are times when it becomes too much and she slips into a depressed mood. When that happens to tends to lock herself into a room or hide out somewhere until she can get back to normal. Lately she has taken to seeking out her boyfriend for comfort, even if its just to be around him. |
Rosalind was born the second child to Katherine & Lorin Bonner, and younger twin by just one minute to Adair. The family of fairies, lived on the very warm climate of Bali, Rosalind being half Indonesian (on her mother's side). Rosie loved being surrounded by so much green, and the fact that the humans seemed to take such care of nature, even going as far as to build gardens that she roamed freely when it was empty.
A lot of her time was spent with Adair, who was her best friend growing up. The pair did everything together, including getting into trouble. Adair was the more mischievous of the two and would orchestrate many of the pranks they pulled on the humans. Their punishments were never severe, as fairies were pranksters by nature and they never got caught by humans. Their father tended to lash out at them when they did get too close for comfort, often telling them that one day they would mess with the wrong human, and that his punishments would be nothing compared to what could happen were they caught. Being young the twins never paid him much heed, though Rosie was always more cautious than Adair.
Of course, as life would have it, the last prank they pulled on a group of human teens camping near their home went terribly wrong, and they did get detected by the humans. They tried to run but two young fairies quickly learned the five or so human teenagers that were after them were gaining ground.
While trying to run is when Rosie's psychic powers manifested themselves for the first time, revealing to her the malicious thoughts of the teens and causing her to stumble and fall. Adair, being the protective brother he was, went back to help her and the pair got captured by the teens.
Rosalind had never seen such cruelty before that day, and tries not to remember the screams of her brother as the teens cut off his wings and tortured him near to death, the slightly younger girl helpless as they declared that this is what happens when you play tricks on humans. Once they were done with Adair they turned on Rosie, employing less torturous methods. They still cut her wings, as they did Adairs, but the three teens who were males each took a turn on her, laughing and claiming that this was all fairy women were good for.
It had fallen dark by the time the teens finally left, and Rosalind dragged herself over to where her brother lay, the boy barely able to keep his eyes open. She held him in her arms, her empathy powers choosing then to manifest as well and helping to keep him calm as he slowly passed away. She was found shortly after by her parents.
The week after the attack was the hardest. Despite multiple attempts from her mother, Rosalind could never bring herself to tell her parents exactly what happened, leaving out the rape and Adair dying in her arms. Her father became very verbally abusive and cold toward her, telling her that she had it coming, and if she would have listened to him from the beginning she wouldn't have been attacked, and Adair would still be alive.
It quickly, and unsurprisingly, became too much and Rosie packed just a few clothes in a single bag, leaving home without a word. She wandered for just over a month, completely terrified of being alone but unwilling to go back home. Just before she turned 14, a scout happened by the area she'd currently been in, took one look at the wingless young fairy, and the sadness in her eyes and explained to her and her parents that there was an academy that she was more than welcome to go to, if she wished. Rosalind was hesitant at first, unsure if she should trust the stranger, but eventually decided that it couldn't be worse than being alone, or anything she'd already been through.
Though she hasn't completely forgotten what happened, her time being at the academy has certainly helped her in healing. She'd been completely broken upon arriving at the academy, a shy, timid version of her former self. Through meeting Deimos and other friends (and despite being the subject of teasing about her missing wings) she has slowly been able to get back to her former, bubbly self. She does have times, however, when it gets to be too much and she slips into a very depressed state, preferring to be left alone. It's those moments that force her memories back to her brother dying in her arms. It took her four years of knowing him to tell her boyfriend Deimos of the attack, though he is the only person she knows, as she hadn't even told her parents the full extent of what happened. Despite his now knowing she still chooses to keep her happy persona around him and everyone else. |

| Katherine Bonner: Rosie used to be close to her mother and while she still loves her, hasn't had contact with her since joining the academy Lorin Bonner: Was never super close to her father, their relationship was strained at best and didn't get better after she ran away Adair Bonner: Rosie and Adair were best of friends, and his death devastated her more than she'd ever admit. Deimos Beck: Demi was Rosie's first real friend when she arrived to the school four years ago, and she developed a crush on him almost immediately, though it took him a while to reciprocate her feelings. He is the only family she has left (that she is aware of) and will do anything for him.
