Lia entered the library with a disgruntled look on her face, making a beeline for the section with fictional books. The whole place reeked of homework. Well, in her mind it did at least. Either way she just wanted this over with as soon as possible so she could go back to thinking about anything but assignments.
Normally she wouldn’t even bother to check out a book for class, she usually looked the books up online and did her book reports based on that. Well, scribbled together some nonsense and called it a book report more like. But no, the teacher had decided they should do readings from the books they chose in class so she supposed she had to actually pick a book. A classic none the less, so not only would it be boring but she wouldn’t understand half of it. Though she supposed that wouldn’t really matter, she’d only be using the book to read aloud from anyway.
