- social: felix is also naturally social, though he is an introvert by nature.
- calm: adults are usually shocked at how well behaved he typically is. in reality, he gets tired pretty easily.
- childish: his parents never encouraged (nor did they discourage) growing up. they've let him keep his childish whims and imagination.
- playful: felix likes joking around and playing games with friends like any other preteen.

| Felix is pretty easy going. He's one to people watch and likes people he can sit in comfortable silence with. Although he's studious towards things he's interested in, he gets good to average grades in school, and always has. Now that he's (close to) trilingual, he's harnessed a fondness for languages, and can't wait to get into the upper level classes so he can start taking linguistics. He likes the expected things of an eleven year old boy, bikes, video games, sports, though sometimes his body is more tired than he's willing to admit out loud. He tries to act tough regarding the chronic body pain of hybrids, but sometimes, usually on full moons, it gets to him.

Felix was born FenYuan Lam in Germany to Hong Kongese parents. They put him up for adoption at age two, supposedly because they were being threatened and were on the run. Felix doesn't remember them, so he really couldn't care less why he was put up for adoption. He was lucky enough to be found and adopted by a couple that found the toddler quite adorable, and was placed into a loving home. It wasn't discovered he was a hybrid until his first doctor's appointment, when a blood sample revealed his heritage. The doctor told his parents with some rather blunt wording how they should proceed, and ended up losing a patient because of his words. His parents found a doctor that specialized in caring for supernaturals, and so Felix was pretty lucky. As soon as he could talk in full sentences, he was asking his parents for a sibling. He was bored on his own and wanted someone to play with, like the twin siblings in his class, or the other kids with older or younger siblings, though he couldn't yet iterate all of that. When he got a bit older, his parents explained to him that they adopted him because they couldn't have kids of their own. When Felix asked why they couldn't just adopt another child, he was taught how expensive it is, how they barely managed to squeeze by in adopting him. Dejected, he began asking for a puppy instead. They still denied him that, too, though they didn't have as solid of excuses for that one.
Felix was eleven when his family got a strange visitor; a scout talking about some school specifically for supernaturals. Usually they would find more troubled kids, and they seemed surprised as how well-mannered and calm Felix actually was. Since it took them quite some time to find him, he started at the school a couple months late.
Not too long after arriving at the school, Felix was being taught "the laws of the land" by a new friend. He began talking about the school's "only true horror story (what with ghosts not really being all that scary)." After they seemed to notice each other, the very person Felix was warned to avoid at all costs approached him. In a rather awkward meeting, he was informed he looked just like this stranger when he was younger. Despite the warnings, and not really knowing exactly what was going on, Felix latched on to Deimos as if he were the older brother he never had. A genetics test proved he had actually had an older brother all this time. Felix latched on even more to Deimos, and he was relieved to find Deimos seemed to like him, as well.
Felix was rather sad to find out his brother was leaving the school, but he's been taking it in strides. They got to visit each other for the holiday break, and after two weeks and the holidays with his parents, and then a couple days in Greece with Deimos' family, he's a bit relieved to be back at school and not living from a suitcase anymore.
