Saoirse stood, picking up the book and looking at Jungshin. "Let's go back outside. I can try to talk you through it. Luckily it probably wont hurt for you since...ya know, you're already dead." She smiled, leaning down to kiss him lightly before going to put the book away. Once she had she turned to Jungshin and said, "Let g--er...actually, give me a second."
Something else Saoirse had been wondering since earlier in the day pricked the back of her mind and she went back to the books, quickly scanning them until she found one that seemed like it'd give her the information she wanted. Neither of them were sure exactly how ghosts were able to reproduce. Jungshin had mentioned one of the ghost professors had kids, though it wasn't clear how. Well, the how wasn't really what she was unsure about, but the answers she got from quickly skimming the book made her hopeful.
She closed the book, putting it away. She went back to take Jungshin's hand, smiling at him lightly. "Alright now we can go." Saoirse said, leading him back out of the library and outside, letting out a sharp breath as she cold hit her. Hopefully he could get the hang of shifting quickly so she didn't freeze.

Jungshin smiled at the kiss, about to leave when she said to wait a minute, and he looked at her curiously as she looked at something in the book. He tilting his head in curious confusion, the look still on his face by the time they were outside. He had noticed a thermometer before they got outside saying it was well below freezing. He hoped Saoirse would be okay. "How do I wolf?" He asked her simply, not even sure where to begin. He tried just thinking of turning into a wolf, but it didn't seem to work, or he was doing it wrong. A part of him, a knowingly irrational part, what afraid of the pain he had experienced when he had transformed. A part of that pain was surely caused by being locked in the basement with very little food or water, any animal in that situation would be desperate to escape, but the pain of transforming was still surprisingly fresh for it having been over two years since he had last done so. He looked to Saoirse, ready to figure it out quickly so she wouldn't have to freeze to death trying to teach him.

Saoirse chewed on her lip. That was a question she was unsure how to answer. Being her fox came naturally to her, but she'd been born a fox and not bitten like Jungshin. How to explain what to do to someone who wasn't used to shifting?
"Just...imagine yourself becoming the wolf, I guess. Focus on your bones changing shape. Imagine the fur growing on your body. It might take you a little while longer than it does me but its your first intentional shifting and you're not being forced to change like I had to."
Saoirse wrapped her arms around herself, her body shivering from the cold. Hopefully he figured it out quickly so that she could warm up. Knowing Jungshin, he'd probably manage to do something off.

"Just... think about it.... Right..." Jungshin muttered. So it was essentially like doing any of his ghost powers, which failed at on the regular. Okay, no pressure there. Still, he knew Saoirse was waiting for him to change before she would, and he needed to figure out if he could before she froze to death trying to teach him.
So, he focused. He couldn't remember the exact act of shifting, but he tried to remember what it had been like outside of painful. He sucked in a breath and closed his eyes, focusing on transforming. He felt something happen after a bit of imaginative thinking, but was afraid to open his eyes. What if he messed up? What if he was going to now be stuck as some weird half-wolf creature forever? He opened his eyes slowly, wearily, and when he looked down, the first thing he noticed was paws. He let out a "yes!" but it instead came out as a yip, and he jumped around in the snow happily. He did it! He was't some weird half-wolf half-ghost thing. He looked at his markings, a bit surprised to find his entire body was white. From what he'd seen, the creature at least somewhat mimicked the colors of the person. Was it because he was a ghost? He looked to Saoirse, quirking his head to one side, looking at her curiously for a moment before barking at her and jumping up and down excitedly.

Saoirse was excited when Jungshin actually managed to shift the first time correctly, though she was admittedly more excited that she could now shift herself and stop freezing half to death. Though before she did so she squatted down to grab his face gently, scruffing it like one would a dog. Somehow, him being a wolf fit him perfectly, even if he weren't born that way and it was forced on him.
"You're adorable." She said, pressing a kiss to the top of his head before straightening. "I'm proud of you."
With that she rolled her shoulder before shifting into her fox, whimpering at the familiar pain that radiated through her body. She was jealous if she were perfectly honest, that he didn't feel the pain that always accompanied shifting forms. But she was more excited than anything, because this meant they could actually run around together. She padded over to him, licking his cheek before bounding off into the snow, looking back to see if he'd follow.

Jungshin had to admit it was a bit strange being a wolf, it would take getting used to, but it was... freeing. Like the wolf within him had been quietly desperate for this chance. He pranced around some more before following after Saoirse, waiting until he wasn't looking before pouncing at her, returning her kiss finally with one of his own before bounding off ahead of her. "This is fun!" He told her, though again, it came out as a bark. He was still curious if they could now communicate.

Saoirse let out a snort, content to watch Jungshin run around as a wolf for the first time since he'd been forcibly changed. It was amusing, he reminded her of a child discovering they could run. She was shocked when she could actually understand what he said, even though it still came out as a bark. She slowly walked towards him before breaking out into a run and pouncing at him, tackling him to the ground and licking his face. "I'm glad you're enjoying it." She yipped, her tail wagging behind her.

Jungshin's tail wagged faster, "We can communicate!" He told her excitedly, easily able to escape her tackle before jumping around some more and then pouncing at her again. "Wow, I guess..." He rolled off her, on his back and wiggling in the snow, "I guess just cause it was quiet.. The wolf I mean, doesn't mean it still didn't want to get out." He told her, rolling so he was laying in the snow on his stomach now. "I feel really happy though. Like... I found a stress relief."

Saoirse padded over to him, plopping onto the ground and resting her head on his back. Her tail wagged lazily behind her as she closed her eyes. He would probably want to get up and run around again, and she could easily move if he did so, but she was content to lay here since she'd gotten her chance to run around the first time they came out here. "It is good stress relief. Being able to run around freely. We just have to make sure not to go near humans, obviously, since most of us aren't native to Antartica."

Jungshin would've raised an eyebrow if he could. "Most of us?" He asked her sarcastically. He licked her nose as she got comfortable. "Maybe try all of us." He looked over his wolf form again. "I could probably pass for an arctic wolf, but there's no such thing as an antarctic wolf." He paused, resting his head on his paws, "It's a bit weird, being an animal it's like it all comes naturally, as you were saying. But it's still weird to the human part of me..." He let out a sigh, "I don't know if I'm making sense..."

"I was trying to be generous." Saoirse huffed, though he was right. The humans would freak out of any of the were-students were to roam about outside. When he began talking to her again she stood, walking to face him. She plopped down in front of him, rubbing her nose to against his. "Yeah, I hear it's like that for those who were bitten. For me it's not that strange because I was born with the fox. I guess the more you do it the less strange it will seem for your human side."

Jungshin perked up when she mentioned she was born a werefox. "Ah, really? What was that like? Do you just like, start transforming from the first full moon after birth?" He was rather curious how it worked, being born a supernatural. How it was similar, how it was different. He sighed, "I guess that makes sense... And since I've only transformed once before this..." He paused, turning to face something, but only seeing the white snow banks. "I thought I heard something. It didn't sound like a human though..." He sat up, "D'you think it's a penguin?" He asked, his tail starting to wag again without him even realizing.

Saoirse started to answer but paused, unsure of how to answer. Her memory of the time spent before her first shifting was hazy at best. "I...my first shifting was when I was very little. My parents...my adopted parents said my biological parents were killed in front of me. I don't remember much about the attack, just that the smoke from the house being set on fire finally forced me from wherever I'd been hiding, and I shifted. I don't know how I knew too, I was only three at the most. But I remember everything hurt, my body felt like I was on fire. And I was terrified of what was happening to me. I don't remember what happened afterwards. My parents said when they found me I was still a wolf, so I must have shifted and stayed like that in order to survive, but I don't remember much before I regained consciousness in my human form."
She let out a sigh. "They took me in, gave me the name Saoirse and raised me as their own daughter. I must have developed my claustrophobia from wherever I'd been hiding during the attack, that's what they say, that is." She grew quiet, it always bothered her that she couldn't remember what happened very well, though she supposed it was a good thing. It didn't seem like something she wanted to remember. When Jungshin perked his head up she looked in his direction, shaking her head lightly. "Do you want to go see what it was?" She asked, standing.

Jungshin looked down at the ground, "that's horrible..." He told her quietly. He couldn't imagine what that must've felt like, being only three and losing your family. Having to run for your life when you're no older than a toddler. He licked her face and then nodded, "Yeah, let's go adventure... erm... carefully adventure." He said, adding in the last part as he wasn't exactly sure if it truly hadn't been a human he had heard. If it had been, they'd easily be caught if they just began bounding around every corner. If it was just penguins though, maybe they could play a bit, assuming the penguin didn't see them as predators. He could just hope continuing their adventure was the right choice, that maybe Saoirse wanted a pick me up after talking about her past. He always liked a distraction from thinking about his.

"The only thing that really bothers me is that I can't remember it very well." Saoirse said. She didn't mention the fact that she had a certain dislike for humans because of the incident. She snorted at his mention of an adventure, nodding her head. Saying that they should be careful seemed like he should have been talking more to himself since he was the accident prone one, but Saoirse would make sure he wouldn't get into trouble either way. She bumped her head against his, nuzzling him gently. "You go first since you heard the sound, I'll follow."
