LIKES: 80's movies (lost boys, The Goonies, Ferris Bueller holla), video games (though she's terrible), reading, tending to the small patch of garden she's 'acquired', being barefoot, stormy weather, were creatures, singing along to the radio, mysteries, learning, science DISLIKES: Arrogance, cold weather, when she can't help people, loud people, being underestimated, losing her way (it happens a lot her sense of direction is terrible), losing at board games (she's a bit competitive). Baked beans (the worst food), bad smells. STRENGTH: Her compassion, fast learner, perspective, quick witted, smart. fast on her feet, quick with her reflexes WEAKNESS: Not the strongest elf (which is something she worries about), reckless, tends to ramble and say the wrong thing a lot, bad sense of direction, filled with anxiety.
|
- Curious: Give her a mystery or a curiosity to look into and she'll be lost for hours trying to get to the bottom of it.
- Sarcastic: Her quick wit is both her downfall and one of her strengths. She has a bad habit of running her smart mouth with snarky comments.
- Compassionate: She cares for to much - despite how it effects her in the long run. She wants her nearest and dearest to be happy.
- Easily flustered: She gets nervous and tends to stutter and ramble a lot.
- Extrovert: Optimistic and fun loving she loves meeting new people and spending time with her friends.

| When first meeting Juniper many would comment upon her ability to make them either smile or raise an eyebrow thanks to her quirky if not weird sense of humour, which is achieved entirely through her open nature and extroverted optimism.
Friendly by nature Juniper isn’t one to turn away company, especially since she craves it so much, she’s a people person and while she wouldn’t deny a quiet hour or four, she most certainly prefers being around people. Mostly this stems from her subconscious underlying fears of rejection, and abandonment. Issues the young Elf has dealt with numerous times in the past.
Of course she’d never tell her friends no, her unquestionable sense of loyalty and her need for inclusion stems from this underlying need to please everybody, in her mind if she can’t make people happy they’ll leave her, or laugh at her, it’s this as well which fuels her overly apologetic nature, thus the more flustered she gets the more she‘ll apologize. Of course she’d always hide it behind a sarcastic comment or a witty remark. She prefers to fix problems than burden others with her own, it’s something she takes great pride in, his ability to cheer others up (whether they want her help or not).
Curious by nature Junipers the type of person that can disappear for hours on a whim following some autumn path or immersing herself within a new craze before jumping onto the next spontaneous interest, though she’s very choosy in what she dedicates her time to (at the moment she’s learning the violin).
Easily flustered Juniper tends to babble when she’s feeling nervous rambling on until she completely forgets herself and the point that got her nervous in the first place. She’s easily embarrassed and often finds her mind dawdling over memories of all the awkward or embarrassing moments she’s encountered in the past. She doesn’t hold much faith in herself his self-esteem isn’t all that high and lacks a lot of self-belief.
She’s used to people giving up on her, and while she doesn’t wallow in self-pity (because ew pity parties) she doesn’t hold much faith in people that aren't in her immediate friendship group. She’s very good at reading people and prides herself on her intuitive abilities and thus often has walls in place.
Stubborn to boot, once Juniper has made her mind up its almost impossible to change it, she’s steadfast in her morals and undermining her integrity or going against them is a good way to make her your enemy. She believes in loyalty and standing up for what you believe in.
She can be moody as well if not a tad anti-social especially if she’s tired or in a terrible mood though she’s quick to come around however, especially if you fetch her cheese cake, for that she’d do almost anything.
Juniper can be quite sensitive though she'll brush it off with a sarcastic comment or roll of her dark eyes. she won't forget it, she can be made jealous easily though she hides it well. She tends to bottle up her emotions which of course never ends well for her. While she's not a quiet person she can be prone to bouts of subjective shyness should she be thrust into a situation she's not entirely happy about or if she can’t grasp something quick enough.
She can be quite pensive and enjoys her alone time to collect and figure her thoughts especially when things get just a little bit too much for her - however once Juniper’s pushed to breaking point she tends to revert in on herself, shutting herself away from the problem she’s dealing with. She’s very good at avoiding problematic things and is notorious for running away from her problems.

Juniper Toller was one of the few elves born to a human mother – a rarity even in the supernatural world. Juniper was immediately abandoned due to her mother Marianne’s own prejudice and her inability to support her daughter. Left on the doorstep of the city church wrapped in a scarf and a necklace, Juniper was taken into the system but was thankfully pulled out of it by Sera and Niamh Toller, an elven couple who fell in love with the chubby baby with pointed ears that was Juniper, and adopted her straight away.
Her childhood was spent in the country side; she wasn’t lonely though, having made friends with a werewolf child next door. Junipers childhood was made up of not very well thought out adventures (which she often planned) and groundings for said adventures. Her education went well, school she took in her stride, though she didn’t fit in immediately as being elven was hard for a lot of human students to come to terms with in their back water little town and many times Sera found her daughter red faced and crying in her room unable to deal with the bullying. Once she even found Juniper pulling at her ears, trying to hide her heritage.
The rejection she faced affected her deeply and though she’d never let on it was truly what kick started not only her anxiety but her need for acceptance. Things never really became better so when Juniper turned eleven Niamh found a boarding school in Antarctica. Otherworld Academy was a god-send and Juniper couldn’t wait to attend.
As the day came for her to attend the academy, she gave a tearful goodbye to her adopted parents and bid them farewell. Surprisingly, she settled in fairly well, the academy itself posed so many wanders and mysteries that the young Juniper never at a loss of things to investigate and explore much to the chagrin of her friends as the years went on. Now eighteen and ready to take on the world she’s excited for what the year poses.
