Likes: being alone, clothes, make-up, reading, being outdoors. Dislikes: liars, humans, large crowds, being trapped in a room for long periods of time, being away from her parents Strengths: singing, sports (of all kinds but mostly soccer), judging character. Weaknesses: sitting still, closed spaces, chocolate, food in general, making friends. Hobbies: playing any sport she can get into, reading, singing (mostly when she's alone). Goals: saoirse would like to get to the point where she is a lot less untrusting of people. she has made it a mission to actually make and maintain one friendship. Others: Saoirse has a hidden love for clothes and make-up, taking care of how she dresses and what she looks like. She does not spend a lot of money on clothes but the clothes she buys looks like they were expensive, same with her makeup. She gets irrationally angry when she or anyone else messes up her clothing. She also has a dislike of enclosed spaces though she isn't entirely sure where this came from.

- guarded: even though she doesn't remember the attack on her home, Saoirse finds herself a lot more guarded against others (humans especially).
- loyal: it may take her a while to get comfortable with someone but once she does she is very loyal to that person, almost to a fault.
- hot-headed: saoirse tends to have a bit of a temper, and it doesn't take much to get her angry.
- restless: the fox in her tends to be more energetic than her human form can handle, and it comes out as being very restless and unable to sit still for very long
- blunt: saoirse is the type of person to not sugarcoat anything, and it makes it hard for her to make and maintain friends but she refuses to change.

| Saoirse is a rather closed off person. Though she cannot remember details of the attack on her and her biological parents, she knows enough of what happened to be very wary of humans, and guarded against people in general. It takes her quite a while to be able to open up to someone, but once she does she is very loyal to them, and they don't have to worry about her betraying or hurting them (intentionally at least). She is rather outspoken though, especially when it comes to something she doesn't agree with, and tends to not sugarcoat things.

Saoirse was born to Were-Fox parents, Hellen and Darin West. She was not born Saoirse, but she has long forgotten her birth name and not knowing it doesn't bother her. She lived with her parents for the first three years of her life, and was relatively happy. The small family lived right on the edge of town, away from all the humans who would not take the news that they lived so close to Supernaturals very well.
Unfortunately, despite them doing their best to blend into the human life, somehow word leaked out that the family was not human, and they soon found the stereotypical angry mob moving on them (sans torches and pitchforks). They managed to hide Saoirse under the floorboards but the couple were unable to get away.
Saoirse was smart enough to stay hidden as long as she could, but the smoke from the fire the humans set to her home became too much and forced her out into the open. The stress of the events forced her to shift for the first time, and though she can't quite remember her parents being killed, her first time shifting will always be burned into her memory.
She wandered as a fox cub for several weeks, managing to catch smaller animals to keep from starving. Eventually though, she became too weak to keep going and collapsed just a few miles from a new town.
When Saoirse came too it was to find she was back in her human-esque form in the warmth of a house. She'd been found by a Irish human couple and taken in. They told her that they'd found her as a cub and while initially shocked when she shifted back to her human form, wanted to take care of her.
After a few years of living with her adoptive parents, Saoirse began forgetting her life with her bio-parents. She was content with her new life, so she figured if the memory was painful enough for her brain to block it out, she didn't want to try and remember.
When she turned eleven, her parents told her that they'd met someone who told them of an Academy for children like Saoirse, and that they believed it would be in her best interest that she go to Otherworld Academy since they were more suited to teach and protect her than her human parents.
Saoirse was reluctant to go at first, but eventually agreed before the start of the term. Her parents promised to stay in touch and after seven years of being at the Academy, they have kept that promise. |

Torin Caiside: Saoirse sees Torin mostly as her protector, and always feels safest with him around. Hellen West: Saoirse was very young with Hellen died so she doesn't remember her. Darin West: Saoirse's memories of Darin are also no existent due to the age she was when he died.
