Darkness spilled through the curtain less window illuminating the desolate hallway in an almost white light. For a moment Juniper stopped and observed the outside biting her lip with anticipation as she watched the few tree’s blow wildly in the heavy snowy gale. This was what she’d snuck out for – there was nothing better than being alone with her thoughts watching the wind whistle through the Antarctic wasteland.
The distant sound of footsteps approached slowly, shit. Eyes widening she froze and turned to move away from her spot by the window. Closer they were getting closer and she was at a dead end – if this was a teacher she was screwed… Moving forward the young elf decided to risk it, her pace quickened into a run, she only had to make it down two more corridors then she’d be back in her dorm. Which would have been fine if she hadn’t immediately tripped over her own feet. Juniper squeaked as she braced herself for the painful clatter. Cursing under her breath as her side met the shiny marble floor. “For gods sake.” She pouted and picked herself up.

"Aww, man of course I'm lost." Laelia groaned lightly as she rounded a corner. This hall looked exactly like the hall behind her, and the other dozen hallways she'd walked down since leaving class. Despite having been here nearly a month, Laelia still couldn't get the hang of the giant school down. It was much bigger than any school she'd attended while she was alive, and the endless halls confused her.
She turned another corner and sighed when it didn't take her someplace that wasn't another hall. Seriously how big does this place need to be? Laelia trudged forward, walking in silence until she heard footsteps. Someone was running...away from her? Curious she began towards where the person was heading, and it didn't take her long to catch up and witness the girl trip and fall.
Laelia went over to her, brows furrowed as she took in the girl. "A-are you okay?" She questioned, voice quiet.
